If you love learning about the body and how it moves, here’s an article by the extraordinary Annie Carpenter on the three planes of movement.  

 

In my first training with Annie, she blew my mind in trikonasana (triangle pose)! This is the kind of deep yet straightforward, no-need-to-reinvent-the-wheel kind stuff I love. The pure joy and simplicity of just being in your body makes you feel so alive and connected, and in turn more happy and positive.

 

Yoga touches all aspects of our lives, but it starts somewhere for each person. This understanding has really expanded my knowledge and allowed me to move deeper in both practice and teaching. On top of that, I was incredibly honored to have participated in this piece.
